These Terms govern access to and use of Kenko (the "Service"), operated by kenkodoc.com ("Company," "we," "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the practice you represent ("Customer," "you").
Kenko is an appointment scheduling tool for medical/dental practices. It is not a certified electronic health record (EHR) system, and is not intended to be the sole system of record for clinical data.
You're responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@kenkodoc.com of any suspected unauthorized access.
You agree not to: use the Service for any patient without appropriate authorization to manage their scheduling data; enter more sensitive clinical detail into notes fields than necessary for scheduling; attempt to access another account's data; or use the Service in a way that violates applicable law, including healthcare privacy law in your jurisdiction.
If you are a healthcare provider entering patient information, you are the data controller for that information under applicable privacy law, and the Company acts as a data processor/service provider. You are responsible for having the appropriate legal basis and patient consent to store their scheduling information in a third-party system, and for complying with your own professional and regulatory obligations (including HIPAA, if applicable to your practice).
The Service is billed per practice at €49/month, charged via PayPal as a recurring subscription. New practices get a 14-day free trial starting from account creation; no payment is required to start the trial.
If a subscription payment fails or is not set up before the trial ends, access to creating, editing, or scheduling appointments is suspended until payment is resolved — existing data is not deleted. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time directly through PayPal (linked from within the app); cancelling stops future charges, and access continues until the end of the current paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. We'll notify account holders by email before any price change takes effect for existing subscriptions.
You own the data you enter. On cancellation, your data remains accessible for 30 days to allow reactivation without loss, after which it is deleted (see our Privacy Policy for details). During that window, or at any time while your account is active, you may request an export of your data by contacting us; individual day schedules can also be printed directly from the app at any time.
We aim for high availability but do not currently offer a formal uptime service-level agreement (SLA). Support requests can be sent to the contact address below.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Either party may terminate on 30 days' notice. We may suspend access immediately for a material violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We'll notify account holders of material changes before they take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection or data protection rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence.
